Casino is to join its support departments on a site at Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne), near Paris.
According to French trade news outlet lsa.fr, the retailer is to unite its purchasing, supply chain, IT and marketing segments in a single location. Currently, these departments are split between Croissy-Beaubourg and Bussy- Saint-Georges (Seine-et-Marne).
Lsa reports that the move is to happen before the end of 2014 and will affect about 1,200 Groupe Casino employees. (28 Aug)
