Coop DE CEO Resigns

Coop (DE) CEO & chairman Gerd Müller has resigned. According to the German grocery retailer’s management, Müller left due to differing opinions regarding company strategy.

Coop has not yet announced a successor for Müller.

Müller will resign his post on the Board as of 30 September 2013 by 'mutual agreement', according to the group.

The co-operative operates across approximately 200 locations, employing more than 9000 employees in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and parts of Lower Saxony and Brandenburg.
