Denmark's Dagrofa has appointed a new chief executive to its FoodService Danmark business.

Peter Bruun will take over as CEO of the firm on 1 December, joining from System Frugt A/S, a supplier of 'natural snacks' such as nuts and dried fruits to the Danish market.

He also previously led Lagkagehuset A/S, a nationwide chain of bakery stores, as well as Pågen AB, a leading Swedish bakery firm, and also held roles with Schulstad AB and Arla Foods.

He commenced his career as an associate with McKinsey, working at the group's consumer foods division in the UK, Sweden, Netherlands and Denmark.

Collaboration Role

Commenting on his forthcoming role with Dagrofa, Bruun said, "I am looking forward to an exciting role, where the overall focus on collaboration with the many skilled employees and management in Dagrofa will ensure that FoodService Danmark takes advantage of its potential."
