Eroski Commences Fundraising Camapaing To Help Haiti After Hurricane Matthew

Spanish retailer Eroski has partnered up with UNICEF to start a campaign to raise funds for people affected by Hurricane Matthew in Haiti.

As reported by lavanguardia.com, from 13 October, Eroski 's customers will be able to make a voluntary donation to help cover the basic needs of the affected population.

The retailers' stores are currently displaying posters with the tagline 'SOS Haiti', encouraging people to donate when paying for their purchases at the till.

Alejandro Martínez Berriochoa, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility said: "At Eroski, we try to timely respond to cases of humanitarian emergency, such as the current situation in Haiti, because immediate attention is a12 priority."

All funds raised will be managed by UNICEF.
