What to Expect At EuroShop 2023

EuroShop 2023 takes place at Messe Düsseldorf from 26 February to 2 March, showcasing the latest innovations and trends in the world of retail.

For its 21st edition, EuroShop will serve as an accelerator for digitalisation and the development of omnichannel retail, bringing together insight from exhibitors across the world.

Last time out, in 2020, some 94,339 visitors from 142 countries were in attendance, along with 2,287 exhibitors from 56 nations – and this year's event is set to surpass that, mapping the complete spectrum of current trends and pioneering solutions in a period of significant change within the retail sector.

EuroShop 2023 will run from Sunday, 26 February to Thursday, 2 March 2023, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on each day. Admission tickets are available online at www.euroshop.de/2130, with one-day tickets costing €70, 2-day tickets priced at €120, and a 'season ticket', permitting access on all days of the show, priced at €165.

The Complete Retail Landscape

As in previous years, the event will be built around eight key Dimensions, each of which will act as a standalone trade show within the wider event architecture. They are: Shop Fitting & Store Design/Visual Merchandising (Halls 10,11,12), Surfaces & Materials (Hall 13), Lighting (Hall 9), Food Service Equipment (Hall 14), Refrigeration & Energy Management (Halls 14, 15, 16, 17), Retail Technology (Halls 4,5,6,7a), Retail Marketing (Halls 3 + 4), and the EuroShop Expo (Hall 1).

In addition, seven EuroShop stages will feature lectures and discussion forums featuring high-calibre speakers from across the global retail landscape. Admission is free for all EuroShop attendees, with confirmed stages to date including the Store Design Stage, Retail Designers’ Stage, Retail Technology Stage, Connected Retail Stage, Start-up Stage, Retail Marketing Stage and Expo & Event Stage.

Make sure you also check out EuroShop's 'Special Areas', which will act as a hub for next-generation thinking, and present innovative new retail solutions.

Elsewhere, the EuroShop Awards will honour outstanding achievements by the international retail community and related sectors – the EuroShop Retail Design Awards will be presented for outstanding store concepts and store designs; the Retail Technology Awards Europe (reta) will acknowledge excellence in IT; and the EHI Science Award will recognise scientific breakthroughs in the world of retail.
