A study by consumer group Altroconsumo has found that Florence is the cheapest city in Italy in which to purchase groceries, with Unicoop Florence rated the cheapest supermarket operator in the region. The study found that Coop shoppers can save over €1,600 a year through shopping at its Tuscan outlets.
Unicoop Florence was also praised for the convenience of its stores in the three cities under its remit, in Florence, Pisa and Arezzo. (29 Oct)
