Idea Opens First Three Organic Stores In Serbia

Serbian grocery retailer Idea has opened its first 'Idea Organic' supermarkets, which are dedicated to organic and healthy food.

Three new stores were opened this week, and all are located in downtown Belgrade.

The Idea Organic stores feature over 1,500 organic and healthy food products, including a wide-range of gluten-free, dietetic, macrobiotic and fasting products.

Customers can also avail of a selection of fresh take-away products under the Fresh Square brand, including sandwiches, salads, juices, fresh soups and healthy cakes, which the retailer says are made from the highest quality natural ingredients, without preservatives, additives, artificial colours and stabilisers.

Another feature of the new store concept is that the non-packaged goods are offered at a much cheaper price than packaged ones.

Furthermore, expert assistance is also on hand from Idea's nutritionists, who are on hand to provide customers with additional information about healthier foods and to help them make the right food choices.
