Lidl Italia has renewed its partnership with FIGC (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio), the Italian Football Federation, assuming the title 'Premium Partner of the Italian National Football Team' until 2022, reports FIGC.
The retailer has been also named 'official fruit and vegetables supplier' to the Italian national team.
According to Eduardo Tursi, head of purchasing and marketing at Lidl Italia, the new status is a reason for the group to be "proud", encouraging it to continue its search for quality products that display Italian excellence.
Gabriele Gravina, president of FIGC, added that it is a "great satisfaction" to collaborate with a dynamic company like Lidl.
Lidl Italia recently announced a wide-ranging advertising campaign, focused on concepts of freshness and quality.
