Musgrave MarketPlace Upgrades Dublin Branch
Irish wholesale retailer Musgrave MarketPlace has reopened its Robinhood cash & carry branch in Dublin, following a €2.5 million upgrade.
The refurbishment is part of the retailer's €10.7 million commitment to refurbish all of its branches nationwide.
This project began last November with the opening of the flagship €2.2 million Ballymun Food Emporium. Since then, over €1 million has also been invested in its Duncrue branch in Belfast, and further refurbishments are planned for 2018.
The Robinhood store, spread over an area of 73,000 square feet, is also equipped with speciality counters for meat, cheese and fish.
In order to meet customer needs, four new roles have been created to ensure shoppers can avail of expert information and advice from trusted advisors, in the fresh food, alcohol, equipment and butcher sections.
As part of its commitment, Musgrave MarketPlace has renewed its food brochure, The Food People, which features 400 products selected based on food trends from all over the world. The latest edition includes 260 gluten-free products, sales of which have seen a growth of 80% in the last three years.
The general upgrade has also involved the retailer's online platform Musgravemarketplace.ie, which now focuses on saving customers time by remembering orders and favourite products. Customers can purchase in many ways, including in-store, online, click-and-collect.
“As a company, we understand that the business of food and drink is constantly evolving and we know that it is vital that we continue to innovate to cater to our customers changing needs,” said Noel Keeley, managing director of Musgrave MarketPlace.
