New CFO Appointed At Maxima Latvija

Maxima Latvija has announced the appointment of Valdis Zeps as its new chief financial officer.

Zeps previously worked at forecourt operator Circle K, where he spent 11 years in a variety of roles connected with financial management and accounting.

Commenting on the new appointment, Andris Vilcmeiers, Maxima Latvija chairman, said, “The addition of Valdis Zeps to our business is a significant gain on this path to strategic growth. Valdis’ professional ability, international experience and financial management work in the Scandinavian market is a significant asset which will help us to introduce world-class standards to Maxima Latvija’s operational processes and reach our growth targets.

“We are pleased that this high-level financial professional has joined the Maxima Latvija senior management team.”

Responsibilities

In his new role, Zeps will oversee the management of the business’ financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, as well as accounting and IT.
