Rewe Group is looking to expand its German organic deli store format, Temma.
The Group is currently in the process of identifying sites of 600-800 square metres in Bonn, Hamburg, Cologne, Düsseldorf and the greater Frankfurt region.
The news of the expansion comes a year after the Rewe Group announced that it saw the potential to open close to 100 Temma stores in the near future. However, the retailer has expanded the banner to just three stores since its launch, with two outlets located in Cologne and one in Düsseldorf. The Temma banner was launched in November 2009 as a hybrid of a neighborhood supermarket and an organic food store, deli and bistro.
