Roda Stores In Montenegro To Rebrand As Idea

Montenegrin retailer Mercator-CG, owned by Croatian food-to-retail giant Agrokor, has announced it will rebrand all of its stores from Roda to Idea.

The rebranding has already started in Herceg-Novi, where 19 Idea stores have been opened, and the whole process should be completed within one month.

Besides continuing the existing Pika card customer loyalty system, the rebranded Idea stores will also feature Konzum’s private label brand K Plus across numerous product categories.

The Idea brand was previously deployed across Serbia, although several Roda stores still continue operating in parallel.

Mercator-CG operates 103 stores across Montenegro, mostly of the neighbourhood store format, with some supermarkets and hypermarkets as well.
