Shoptalk Europe – Secure Your Place Before Ticket Prices Rise!

Shoptalk Europe, which takes place from 9 to 11 October in Copenhagen, is now less than 90 days away, with more than 2,000 attendees expected to attend this first-of-its-kind event.

The event, which follows the success of Shoptalk USA, which was launched in 2016 and welcomed more than 5,500 attendees to its second edition in March of this year, will focus on disruptive trends and technologies, and changes in how consumers discover, shop and buy in a time of digital transformation.

In addition, Shoptalk Europe will bring together retailers and brands with direct-to-consumer start-ups, tech and Internet companies, investors, media, analysts and other stakeholders from across Europe and the world.

Keynote speakers set to address the event include Michael Dubin, Founder & CEO, Dollar Shave Club; Dominik Richter, Founder & CEO, HelloFresh; Jerry Storch, CEO, Hudson’s Bay Company; Michael Ward, Managing Director, Harrods; Paul Todd, SVP EMEA, eBay; and Terry von Bibra, General Manager Europe, Alibaba Group, to name but a few. A number of CEOs of direct-to-consumer start-ups are also already confirmed.

Ticket Information

Ticket prices for Shoptalk Europe are due to increase on Friday, 21 July, so attendees are advised to secure their places as soon as possible. ESM readers can use the code ESM150 to get a reduction on the ticket price.

General tickets can be bought here (suitable for anyone who is not a retailer or a start-up), and Retailer & Brand Tickets can be bought here.

Hosted Retailers & Brands Programme

In addition, more than 250 industry representatives have already confirmed their places on the Shoptalk Europe Hosted Retailers & Brands programme. The programme entitles qualifying individuals to a free ticket to Shoptalk Europe and up to €650 towards their travel and hotel in exchange for completing eight 15-minute meetings with Shoptalk’s sponsors and exhibitors. Meetings are personalised and based on the interests of the retailers and brands.

In total, some 8,000 onsite meetings will be arranged with 1,000 retailers and brands at the event.

Retailers already enrolled in the programme include Continente, Dansk Supermarked Group, Grupo Pão de Açucar, Jerónimo Martins, John Lewis, Lidl, Musgrave, SOK, Sonae MC and many more.

There are currently only 100 free tickets left in the programme. Therefore, industry executives are encouraged to apply quickly before the end of July, to secure their place at the retail event of the year!
