Tomislav Smolčec has been appointed Director of Sales and Associate Member of the Management Board, responsible for the sales channels of METRO Cash & Carry in Croatia.
In the new position, he will be responsible for the further development and implementation of strategy.
Smolčec joins Metro from the position of Executive Director of the Business Area Sales at Croatian water bottling company Jamnica.
He started his career as a sales assistant in Jamnica. Throughout the seventeen years spent in the company, Smolčec was promoted to Sales Manager, Director of Distribution Centre, Sales Director for Croatia.
