Polish retailer Żabka has announced that it has installed contactless disinfection stations in its stores to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
These personalised stations are equipped with contactless disinfectant dispensers, wipes, gloves and bins.
In addition to disinfecting their hands, customers can also disinfect purchases that they intend to consume immediately such as cold drinks.
Safe Shopping Experience
Małgorzata Turoń, a franchisee from Wrocław, said, “Thanks to the disinfection station, compliance with the restrictions related to the pandemic while shopping at Żabka does not cause additional difficulties for customers, and the shopping becomes completely safe - because the device is used without contact.”
The device has been designed especially for Żabka and is marked with the retailer’s logo, the company added.
Żabka has also installed a mini version of its contactless dispenser in its logistics centres.
