Spanish wholesale chain Froiz is expanding its presence in Portugal with the opening of its first Cash & Carry store.
The store caters to retail and catering professionals, offering a wide variety of groceries, fresh fruit, refrigerated and frozen meats, a wine cellar, hygiene and personal care products, as well as general merchandise.
The assortment also includes Froiz private label products (toileteries, food, dairy and pharmacy).
The Cash & Carry store is located on the same premises as the company’s new logistics base in the industrial district of Marvila, near Sequeira-Braga.
Froiz is mainly present in Northern Portugal, with stores in Valença do Minho, Porto, Barcelos, Braga, Carvalhos, Guimarães, Ovar, Villa Nova de Gaia, Santa Maria da Feira, Vila Praia de Âncora and Viana do Castelo.
As well as a physical presence, the retailer also has an online store.
