SPAR Austria is working with German digital agency Ecx.io on the creation of a B2B platform for some 1,200 of its smaller suppliers.
The retail group will replace communication through fax and e-mail to facilitate the management of master data as well as returns, according to Planet Retail. The new system will be fully integrated into SPAR’s SAP central merchandising system and will also include a portal for the buying of fresh products at short notice. (20 Feb)
