Talamo succeeds chief human resources officer Chris Van Steenbergen, who will retire from the role on 1 January 2021.

He served for nearly 20 years at Cadbury Schweppes in various leadership roles and moved to Royal DSM before joining Heineken in 2014.

He has played an important part in introducing standardised people processes based on a one-system platform and was responsible for establishing Heineken’s Inclusion and Diversity strategy.
