Tesco Ireland Goes Rainbow For Dublin Pride

Tesco Ireland is joining the annual Dublin Pride festival for the first time this year, with over 150 employees marching in the city's parade.

A Tesco delivery truck will act as a float in the parade, while Tesco staff will handout sweets and rainbow roses along the route.

“We know that Dublin Pride is such a fun and vibrant event and we’re really proud that over 150 of our colleagues will be taking part in the parade," said Geraldine Casey, people director at Tesco Ireland.

Pride-Themed Branding

In addition to the parade, Tesco stores across Dublin city will also be getting involved. Nine of the retailer's stores along the parade route will featured a rainbow-coloured Tesco logo, while 11 stores will be decorated with rainbow bunting and posters.

Tesco Ireland is also donating 3,000 bottles of water and bananas to the festival's main event area, Pride Village, and is providing lunch bags for the volunteer stewards.
