Albert Heijn Extends AH Compact Service To Heemskerk And Beverwijk

Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has extended its AH Compact service to Heemskerk and Beverwijk in the Netherlands.

AH Compact offers free grocery delivery service for small households.

Orders from Heemskerk and Beverwijk will be fulfilled from its home shop centre in Amsterdam in six delivery slots each week.

Customers can track their purchases via the ‘track & trace’ feature in the AH Compact app, the retailer said.

Small Households

Last year, Albert Heijn launched the AH Compact service to meet the requirements of single individual households and households without children.

The minimum order amount is €35, and customers can choose from a range of around 5,000 daily grocery items.

The prices of products are the same as in the store or on the Albert Heijn website, the retailer added.
