China's JD.com To Partner With Carrefour For Logistics Services

China’s second-largest e-commerce firm, JD.com, is to partner with French retail giant Carrefour to facilitate cross-border logistics services, reports suggest.

CapitalWatch.com, an investment news portal, has reported that the e-commerce giant will provide services like cross-border import, customs clearance, sorting, and distribution to Carrefour.

The partnership will also extend to product sales and collaboration on logistics models.

Logistics Network

The logistics network of JD.com operates in ten cross-border trade ports in China, with a focus on Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the report noted.

JD.com will complete cross-border logistics within ten minutes under its innovative bonded warehouse mode and deliver 90% of its overseas business within 72 hours.
