Portuguese hypermarket chain Continente has launched the Continente App, available free for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
The application aims to replicate a store in mobile environment and provides quick and intuitive shopping for its customers at the touch of a button.
During the purchase process, customers can travel with a virtual cart along the shelves of every supermarket area, obtain more information about each product and also access Super Price promotions and discounts available.
The browsing process is facilitated by filters that allow a simpler, more focused research, such as the Super Price filter, the Continente card filter, or filter by selected brand or category.
Continente App is equipped with an intelligent search system, which adapts to the preferences of each customer by offering a personalised shopping experience. The App registers the products purchased most often, causing them to automatically appear in the Favorites area, making future purchases easier.
