  • Embraco, a global leader in refrigeration technology for the residential and commercial cold chain, and part of Nidec Global Appliance, will showcase its expanded portfolio at Chillventa 2024.

The event, one of the world’s largest HVAC&R (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration) trade shows, takes place in Nuremberg, Germany, from October 8-10.

Embraco will present its latest solutions at booth 7-130, including electronic components for full refrigeration system integration, as well as a comprehensive range of condensing units and mono blocks.

    Component Integration

“We aim to demonstrate Embraco’s new level of expertise, offering a complete range of solutions for commercial and residential refrigeration,” explains Guilherme Almeida, President of Nidec Global Appliance.

“Our 53 years of innovation have allowed us to expand our portfolio with a forward-thinking approach, shaping trends such as component integration. At Chillventa, the ‘Sync it All’ portfolio is already showing its advantages through case studies. This new approach, along with other innovations, supports our goal of doubling Embraco’s portfolio net sales in five years.”

A key highlight will be the recently launched Sync it All portfolio, which includes the Embraco AIR fan, the SYNC controller, and the YouControl development interface, all integrated with Embraco variable-speed compressors for commercial appliances.

    Case Studies

Embraco will present case studies showcasing the portfolio’s performance. In one study, a standard fixed-speed compressor in a food service freezer was replaced by a VEH variable-speed model managed by the Sync controller, and the standard fan was replaced by the electronically commutated Embraco AIR fan, leading to energy savings of up to 31%.

In another study, two fixed-speed compressors on a multi deck display fridge, were replaced by variable-speed models managed by the Sync controller, achieving 17% savings as the system worked synchronously.
