Spanish retailer Eroski has launched a online ordering service for customers.
This initiative, called 'Click & Drive', works in a similar fashion to 'drive' services by some of Europe's largest retailers. Customers can order from the comfort of their own homes, and retrieve their orders at collection points located in Eroski supermarket car parks.
"Click & Drive is Eroski’s answer to a better consumer service for those customers who need to fill complete a full week's shopping, but also want to do it quickly and easily.
Thanks to this free service everyone can make orders via computer, tablet or mobile phone and pick it up in less than five minutes in car on the way home, "says Jaime Fernández de Valderrama, Online Commerce Director of Eroski. Click & Drive is free, open time from 9:00 to 21:30 and clients can order their purchases up until six days before collection.
"Our goal is to facilitate our customer’s purchase, now everyone can park immediately and collect the delivery easily in the parking area" added Fernández. This service is now available in Bizkaia in the hypermarket of Leioa.
