Eroski To Extend Online Catalogue With 4,000 New Products

Spanish retailer Eroski has announced that it is to offer up to 4,000 new products on its online stores.
For the supermarket chain, this represents a 35% increase, and they now have over 12,000 products available to buy on the internet.
In a statement released by the company, Eroski said that the latest development will make prices more competitive. The increase of range is mainly focused on local products, fresh fruit & veg, gourmet food, beauty ranges and over the counter products.
The service has already been rolled out in Victoria and Pamplona, and it is due to be implemented throughout the rest of Spain gradually over the coming months.
Eroski's online sales grew 10% in 2013, the majority of this coming from customers in the north of Spain and the Basque country.
"Our efforts are focused on improving the customer shopping experience via Web www.eroski.es , range, prices and discounts , delivery and after-sales service ," said Jaime Fernandez de Valderrama Director of Commerce Online Eroski .
