Migros Launches Online Parts & Accessories Store

Migros customers have been able to order parts and accessories for consumer goods and homewares online since the beginning of September.
While spare parts and accessories continue to be available in-store, the retailer now is selling over 10,000 parts and accessories for household and cleaning devices, electronics and multimedia, hobby and DIY, housing, sports and leisure online.
'A defective battery, lack of bag for the vacuum cleaner or a new water tank for coffee machine? These and many other spare parts and accessories can be ordered easily from home on migros service.ch', the Swiss retailer said in a statement, adding, 'With migros-service.ch Migros is the first manufacturer to offer spare parts in Switzerland'.
The spare parts and accessories cost the same as in Migros stores or as in specialist hardware or homewares stores.
'The offering on www.migros-service.ch is specially designed to meet customer needs and will be continuously expanded', Migros said.
There is no charge for click & collect and, according to Migros, 'another advantage of the new portal is the short delivery times and the ability to inquire about the status of the order online at any time'.
