Mondelēz Invests In eCommerce Technology For Tassimo Brand

Global confectionery, food and beverage giant Mondelēz International has chosen Intershop’s SaaS solution as the new eCommerce engine for its coffee brand Tassimo, makers of a smart technology-based hot beverage system.

The eCommerce solution enables Tassimo to provide a seamless experience for all consumers, regardless of location.

As part of reorganising its global eCommerce landscape, Mondelēz initially relaunched the Tassimo sites of France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, Greece, and Spain on the new Intershop platform, with additional regions being rolled out in the coming weeks.

Intershop set up the platform for Tassimo’s European country shores in a dedicated private cloud environment.

Together with its partner ModusLink, the companies provided the end-to-end eCommerce solution for Tassimo, improving efficiencies when adding new products and geographies as it realises its expansion plans.

The integrated solution combines Intershop’s professional services, hosting, application management and content management with ModusLink’s fulfillment, order management, financial management and logistics expertise.
