Tesco Slovakia Expands Online Shopping Service

Tesco Slovakia has announced that it has expanded its online shopping service to around 1.1 million households across the country.

The initiative aims to offer more customers a safe and simple way to purchase food and groceries over the Christmas period.

The retailer has also strengthened its capacity in existing locations and is processing 90% more online orders than the previous year.

'Safest Possible Purchase'

Martin Kuruc, executive director of Tesco Slovakia, said, “At Tesco, we do everything we can to ensure the safest possible purchase for all our customers before Christmas.

“It is important to us that every Slovak household does not lack anything during the holidays and that our customers have the most beautiful Christmas possible, despite the current challenging period.”

Some of the cities that can now avail of Tesco’s online shopping service include Dunajská Streda, Gabčíkovo, Nové Zámky, Topoľčany, Bánovce nad Bebravou, Žiar nad Hronom, Brezno, Detva, Hriňová, Liptovský Hrádok and Liptovský Mikuláš.
