Swedish multinational food packaging and processing company Tetra Pak has appointed a new director of sales for Europe.
Hermann Nortmann (pictured) has been given the role and will manage the sales activities of the company in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Nortmann is an engineer, specialising in process engineering. After his six years as a product manager at Linde AG, he worked as an account manager from 2001 with the Tetra Pak processing team, manufacturing beverages and products in Germany.
In 2011 he took on the task of Key Customer Coordinator for the Mid Europe region and was responsible, among others, for the structural design of the marketing concept for large customers.
His new role will come into effect this month.
