Mark Williamson Retires As Commercial Director At Waitrose

Commercial director at Waitrose Mark Williamson, has announced that he will be retiring from the role as of January 2017.

Filling the position is Rupert Thomas, the current marketing director at Waitrose; he will step into the role of commercial director in February 2017.

Williamson has been with the company since 2004 and has been a member of the management board for 10 years.

He will maintain his role as Chair of the Leckford Estate- the Waitrose Farm, which he took up earlier this year.

Rob Collins, Managing Director, said: “Mark has done a fantastic job and achieved great things on the commercial front; he’s been a valued board colleague, bringing wisdom and experience to our work."
