Carlsberg Group has announced a number of changes to its executive committee.
Lars Lehmann has been appointed as the executive vice-president of its Eastern European operations and managing director of Baltika Breweries in Russia.
The current executive vice-president of Eastern Europe, Jacek Pastuszka, will assume the same position for Western Europe.
Elsewhere, Chris Warmoth, the present executive vice-president for Western Europe, has been named the new executive vice-president for group strategy, effective 1 May 2019. Warmoth joined Carlsberg in January 2014, as the executive vice-president for the Asian region.
He has held several top roles in the brewery and played an important role in driving transformation within the organisation.
Various Roles
Lehmann joined the Carlsberg Group in 2003 and has held various leading portfolios within it.
These include the role of commercial vice-president for Eastern Europe and the head of the export, licence, and duty-free division.
In 2016, he became the managing director of Carlsberg Malaysia.
The managing director of Carlsberg Sweden, Ted Akiskalos, will take over Lehmann's role in Carlsberg Malaysia.
Stable Financial Performance
Pastuszka played an important role in stabilising the financial performance of the company's Eastern European operations, the company noted.
He joined the brewing group in 2009, as the managing director of Carlsberg Polska.
In 2011, he was appointed as the managing director of Carlsberg’s Norwegian subsidiary, Ringnes.
