French Organic Brand JusteBio Launches In Portugal
French organic brand JusteBio has arrived in Portugal, through a partnership with local distributor Pisabell.
The first JusteBio store has opened in Lisbon and provides 111 dispensers for 'bulk' products, including nuts, cereals, and teas. The company aims to implement the organic bulk concept in 100 stores in Portugal.
According to president and founder, Franck Bonfils, the main goal of JusteBio is to ensure the quality and traceability of its products.
Speaking to Dinheiro Vivo, Bonfils said Portugal will function as a “laboratory” for the business, where it will be able to observe current and future market trends, before launching in other countries. As well as bulk sales, the flagship store in Lisbon will offer more than 130 organic product references.
In France, bulk sales account for 80% of JusteBio's business, with the brand holding 75% of the French market in this category. The company's intention is to replicate this performance in Portugal, becoming a leader in the organic nut segment.
Pisabell is forecasting €1 million worth of sales this year for JusteBio Portugal, a figure that should reach €3 million by 2020. Company turnover last year amounted to €49 million in 2018 and the forecast for this year is €75 million.
In addition to France and Portugal, JusteBio is also present in Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
