La Linea Verde To Showcase Bagged Salads And Chilled Soups At PLMA

Leading Italian producer La Linea Verde will be exhibiting at PLMA on 21 and 22 May (Hall 1, Stand F-5203 – ICE Area), showcasing its range of bagged salads and chilled fresh soups.

The company is a co-packer for 60 international retailer brands in Italy and Europe, and operates six production sites (in Italy, Spain and Serbia) as well as five commercial offices, and its own state-of-the-art greenhouses.

The company posted €300 million in turnover in 2018.

Today, 35% of La Linea Verde's sales are generated abroad, thanks both to export activities from Italy and the performance of the Spanish arm of the group. However, the company's international outlook is not limited only to exports.

In March of this year, La Linea Verde opened a new commercial office in France to establish new commercial relationships with French retailers.

Moreover, in 2017, the company acquired the Spanish producer Naturvega, specialised in fresh deli products, as well as opening a production site for bagged salads in Serbia and a commercial office in Russia.

Added-Value Products

Central to the company's success is its range of exceptional added-value bagged salads, prepared salad bowls, chilled fresh soups and fresh beverages.

Organic variants of all product ranges are also available, with the company holding organic certification since 1992.

The management team of La Linea Verde will be present at the company booth at Hall 1, Stand F-5203 (ICE Area) and will be looking forward to reinforcing their relationships with international, large-scale retail buyers.
