Premier Foods is introducing a range of new cooking sauces from its brands Sharwoods, Homepride and Loyd Grossman. The new flavours and formats are based on the latest emerging eating trends across the UK, the company said and aim to inspire the younger shoppers to experiment with new flavours.
According to Yilmaz Erceyes, Brand Director with Premier Foods, 92% of UK households are interested in buying ready-made cooking sauces and 83% say they would try a new flavour from a well-known brand.
Among the new products are:
Sharwood’s new pan-asian range titled, ‘World Inspire’, is presented in a new, eye-catching packaging.
Loyd Grossman has added ‘Italian Pasta Sauces’ and ‘Indian Cooking Sauces’ to its range and in addition offers a new, smaller pack size suitable for smaller households.
Homepride introduces an ‘All American Texan Chilli’ range and ‘Extra Veg’ Pasta Bakes’, designed to appeal to customers looking for a healthier option in ready-made sauces.
