The Swiss Migros Bank has developed a mobile payment app which can be used in Migros supermarkets as well as in other shops.

Migros is the country's largest retail company, and most prominent employer. It co-founded Turkey's largest retailer, Migros Türk, which became independent of Migros Switzerland in 1975.
Its primary rival is Coop, Switzerland's second-largest grocer; among its less prominent competitors are the Manor department store chain, Aldi (which entered Switzerland in 2005), and Lidl, which started trading in the country in 2009.
