Campbell Soup Company has announced the appointment of Francisco Fraga as the group's new chief technology and information officer.
Fraga joins Campbell from consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble, where he worked for 21 years in various senior positions. Most recently, he was the company's IT global chief technology officer.
In his new role at Campbell, Fraga will oversee the group's global information technology, with the aim of creating a 'world-class IT function that delivers value to the business'.
“The pace of change in our digital world is accelerating and creating opportunity,” said Bethmara Kessler, Campbell's senior vice president of integrated global services.
“Technology is one of the keys to help differentiate Campbell in a rapidly evolving food industry. Francisco is a thought-leader with a proven track record of converting digital complexity into strategy.”
