Hero Group Appoints Najoh Tita-Reid As New CMO

Swiss food company Hero Group has announced that it is appointing Najoh Tita-Reid as its new chief marketing officer (CMO) and member of the executive board.

Tita-Reid will take up her new role at the beginning of August this year. She replaces Witte van Cappellen, who stepped down from his role for family reasons.

Cappellen, however, will remain with Hero Group as a member of the executive board with ‘extended responsibilities for supply chain and procurement’.

Ideal Candidate

Rob Versloot, CEO of Hero Group, said, "[Tita-Reid's] hands-on knowledge of our key geographies and strong track record in country, regional and global marketing roles in FMCG and consumer health makes her an ideal candidate for the post of CMO within our Group.”

Tita-Reid previously worked for Procter & Gamble in sales and marketing roles for over 20 years, before joining Merck consumer care. She later took on the role of VP and country division head consumer care for the UK and Ireland.
