Carrefour To Take Part In 'Hello Tomorrow' Summit

Carrefour has announced that it is to partake in the Hello Tomorrow Summit, which aims to decrease food waste, and meet other environmental goals.

The retailer will offer cash prizes for innovative ideas, and will be represented by a number of its executives. Representatives from Mondelēz, Nestlé, Mars, Danone, and others will also be present at the event, which is to take place on 13 to 14 October of this year in Paris.

In a press release, the hypermarket chain says it wishes to “valorize new solutions against food waste, in partnership with startups and innovative companies! These solutions can concern production, manufacturing, transport, retail or consumption.”

Hello Tomorrow itself says it intends to use “the greatest minds in science and entrepreneurship to create the perfect storm of good things.”
