Spanish Olympic swimmer and gold medalist, Mireia Belmonte, has been invited by Lidl to participate in the campaign #Frutitour which aims to promote greater consumption of fruit.
As reported by elespanol.com, Belmonte recently appeared at a promotional event in which she spoke about the importance of fruit and vegetables as part of an athlete's diet. At the event, Mireia demonstrated smoothie recipes and shared tips on how to include more fresh fruit and vegetables in your everyday diet.
This is not Mireia's first media partnership, as the athlete is also a spokeswoman for Plátano de Canarias and San Miguel 0.0%, a range of flavoured non-alcoholic beers by the well-known Spanish beer brand.
