Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Netherlands Appoints New VP & Country Director

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) Netherlands has appointed Jeroen van Vliet as its new country director. He will step into the role on 1 March 2023.

van Vliet succeeds Jaap Wassink, who has been named group VP of sales execution and route to market at CCEP.

In his new role, van Vliet will work closely with Karlijn in 't Veld, country director of Coca-Cola Netherlands.

Over 15 Years Experience

van Vliet has been responsible for the field sales team in the Netherlands since 2019. He joined CCEP in a finance role in 2006 and has built up broad experience in various commercial roles, the company said.

Prior to his current role, van Vliet held the position of director of retail for the Netherlands. He also gained experience in the UK, where he led the Tesco account for CCEP.

CCEP said that van Vliet is actively committed to the Inclusion & Diversity agenda in the Netherlands within the organisation.

Busy Start To 2023

It has been a busy start to the year for CCEP in the Netherlands. At the beginning of the year, CCEP announced that it will switch to electric cars for all company cars in the Netherlands, a transition that it hopes to complete by the end of 2026, at the latest.

A total of 300 cars are switching to an electric variant in the Netherlands. CCEP says it will help employees on their way to easily charge electric vehicles at home, at work and on the go.

The company's factory in Dongen has already made the switch to electric forklifts. At the beginning of 2022, the company announced that all trucks driving for Coca-Cola in the Netherlands now use HVO100 biodiesel, which saves up to 90% net CO2 emissions versus the use of fossil fuel.
