Portugal’s Delta Cafés To Sell Coffee On Alibaba

Portuguese coffee company Delta Cafés is planning to sell its products through the Chinese e-commerce platform Alibaba.

Announcing the news, the CEO of the group Nabeiro Delta Cafés, Rui Miguel Nabeiro, said that the company hopes to earn around €700,000 during the first year, reports the Lusa news agency.

The partnership with Alibaba, which has more than 450 million customers, will initially last for five years.

Delta Q

The company’s Delta Q coffee brand, which is now present in 25 countries, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Delta Q is expected to end 2017 with a turnover of €75 million, according to Nabeiro, and the group is hoping to reach €150 million within five years.
