Ahead of SIAL Paris, which takes place from 16 to 20 October, a total of 15 SIAL Innovation Award Winners have been named. These winners, along with a myriad of other products, will be on display in the SIAL Innovation Observatory at the event.
A total of 2,188 products were submitted for this year's contest, from 942 companies, with 600 of those products going through to the judging process, which took place in Paris in September.
Winners included Pur Just, a pure, cold-pressed fruit juice (Non-Alcoholic Drinks), Italian carrot liqueur Mama Carrot (Alcoholic Drinks), Lait demi-écrémé UHT (Dairy Products), Gelato-Filled Fruit (Frozen Foods) and French company Sabarot's Les moulins à champignons (Savoury Grocery, Distribution).
Other products honoured included Petit Polenta Et Petit Quinoa A Trancher, from Sabarot, winner in the Delicatessen category, and La Cave A Vivande, from Puigrenier, in the Meat Products category.
Winning products will also be highlighted in the SIAL Trends book, which will be available at the show.
