Carrefour France Announces New Management Structure

Carrefour France, under the guidance of chief executive Noël Prioux, has announced structural changes to its organisation.

The former director of French supermarkets, Alain Rabec, has been appointed director of French hypermarkets, replacing Eric Bourgeois. Jérôme Hamrit has been appointed commercial and marketing director for French hypermarkets.

In the retailer's French supermarket division, Hervé Flambard has been appointed director, while Vincent Abello has taken over as the director for merchandise and supply chain, succeeding Patrice Zygband, who will become advisor to Carrefour CEO Georges Plassat.

Sylvain Ferry is the new dry-grocery director, while Eric Sauvage will join Carrefour France as corporate secretary on 1 June 2016.

Finally, Hervé Parizot will take over the management of client marketing, merchant services and innovation.
