This year, Slovakia is chairing the presidency of the European Council, and as part of this year-long series of activities, the European Retail Summit conference will be held under the auspices of His Excellency Andrej Kiska, the president of the Slovak Republic.
Topics set to be discussed at this year's event include working together for proper business practices, mobile customer and omnichannel retailing, the circular economy, logistics and trade, the shared economy, smart cities and businesses, category management, brands versus own-brands, and many more.
The conference is aimed at delivering practical information and advice for retail chains, as well as producers and distributors, particularly in the FMCG sector. It will also provide attendees sufficient space for formal and informal networking.
The European Retail Summit takes place from 25 to 27 April at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Bratislava, Slovakia.
