Serbia’s Univerexport and DIS Launch Online Shops

Serbian food retailer Univerexport has launched eLakolije, an online service for ordering goods with home delivery.

The minimum required purchase is RSD 1500 (over €12.50) and free delivery is available in the cities of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Vršac. Payment is possible with cash, checks, debit and credit cards and with Univerexport vouchers.

Over 12,000 articles can be purchased online, including those on promotion, new products as well as Univerexports’s own private label ranges (Bašbaš, Dajdaj, Uni, Bubzi, Merzer, Dirka, D'ardi and Dolina Vina).

In addition, Univerexport has installed advertisement panels on the busiest bus stops in Belgrade and Novi Sad with pictures of fast moving consumer goods and QR codes. After downloading a free app, consumers can scan the QR code and order a selected product. After filling the virtual shopping basket, the selected products will be delivered directly to the home address.

At the same time, Univerexport is also continuing to invest in its retail network, opening a total of eight stores over the past few weeks, including the first in Kanjiža, Subotica, Ada, Apatin, Kula and Vrbas, as well as its second store in the city of Zrenjanin. Currently, Univerexport has over 40 stores of various formats.
