The ongoing disagreement between Groupe Casino and Coca-Cola has finally been resolved.
Products of the company including Sprite, Fanta and Capri-Sun will, little by little, reappear in Casino's supermarkets and the chain's other stores, which include Marché Franprix and Géant outlets.
The price conflict dates back to the end of April. The head of food at a Casino convenience store spoke of the difficulties ensued by the détente. "Believe me, two months without being able to sell two-litre bottles of Coca-Cola is a long, difficult time."
It proved to be less problematic to sell replacement drinks for Coca-Cola's other products, according to managers of Casino's outlets.
