Maxus Extends Marketing Deal With L'Oréal
The multinational media agency Maxus has announced that it has preserved its lucrative deal to market L'Oréal SKUs in Indonesia.
Maintaining a business relationship that has existed for more than a decade, the development is the third agreement between the companies.
“The scope of the pitch included complete media services including strategy, communications planning, integrated media approach, investment and buying, tools & processes and team capabilities,” a Maxus press release said. Accenture acted in the capacity of pitch consultant for the contract.
“Apart from the incumbent agency Maxus, the other agencies in the pitch were Carat, IPG and Havas. Following a detailed evaluation across all criteria, L'Oréal retained their trust in the incumbent, Maxus.”
The managing director of Maxus Indonesia, Partha Kabi, stated, “L'Oréal is a prestigious client for us in Indonesia as well globally. We have been working with L'Oréal Indonesia as their media partners for over a decade. The biggest challenge in any long relationship is keeping it fresh and exciting.
“We have been able to successfully lead and guide the client through change with innovative ideas, new thinking, new talent, diversified services, award winning work and a completely integrated media offering. Credit to L'Oréal for constantly challenging us as well as believing in us to deliver to their expectations. It’s a partnership of equals and a relationship with mutual respect. We eagerly look forward to the next leg in this relationship with L'Oréal.”
