PepsiCo has announced the launch of SodaStream Professional in the US that will offer customisable beverages in workplaces, college campuses and airports.
The new platform is an extension of SodaStream, the world's leading at-home sparkling water maker, which was acquired by PepsiCo in 2018.
SodaStream Professional will allow users to create the perfect drink from a range of unsweetened flavours, carbonation levels and temperatures.
It will also offer users the option to store their favourite drink combinations, set hydration goals and track how many plastic bottles they've saved to date through the accompanying SodaStream Connect mobile app.
Scott Finlow, chief marketing officer of PepsiCo Foodservice, said, "SodaStream Professional offers a unique way for consumers to personalise great-tasting hydration and reduce single-use packaging at the same time.
"We're thrilled to bring these hallmarks of the SodaStream brand to channels outside the home for the first time."
SodaStream Professional has been designed and developed by PepsiCo and expands the company’s ‘Beyond the Bottle’ portfolio, which is a part of the company’s efforts to reduce the use of plastics.
The hydration platform has been designed to complement contemporary furniture and blends effortlessly into its physical surroundings.
