Champagne Bollinger will seek a new president, following the reappointment of its current head, TheDrinksBusiness reported.
Jérôme Philipon’s new role as chief operating officer at Société Jacques Bollinger leaves the spot free for a new Champagne Bollinger president. He originally joined the drinks company in 2008, moving from Coca-Cola Europe.
His appointment was somewhat unusual because he was not a member of the Bollinger family; he believes his successor could also be brought in from further afield.
“We have allocated 2017 to find someone to replace me at Bollinger, and it will be a long recruitment process,” he told TheDrinksBusiness. “We will look outside [the Champagne house], and we are not in a rush [to find a new president].”
