Packaging firm Ardagh Group has set up a Global Sustainability Action Group, and appointed John Sadlier as the company's new chief sustainability officer.
In the new role, Sadlier will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's sustainability agenda, Ardagh said in a statement.
Sadlier, who most recently served as the chief procurement officer of the company, will report to Group COO, Shaun Murphy.
Global Sustainability Efforts
The Global Sustainability Action Group will co-ordinate Ardagh Group's global sustainability efforts and increase responsiveness.
The Action Group will report to the company board and will be chaired by the chief operating officer.
It will also include senior executives from across departments such as risk, HR, finance, IT, and legal.
